Everything you wanted to know about Like Family

As a registered NDIS provider, Like Family is dedicated to reducing the loneliness and social isolation that many elderly, ill, or disabled individuals in Australia experienced.

They achieve this by connecting these people with local support workers, who they refer to as Social Carers. These professionals are capable of providing community and social support to their clients in the form of transportation, companionship at events, shopping, housework and general assistance with appointments.

Their Social Carers can help you participate in the community, achieve independence, and better enjoy life through a wide range of activities that relate to health and well-being, including everything from arts and crafts and buying groceries to meal preparation and household tasks.

They also offer small-group and overnight support to ensure their clients receive the help they need when they need it.
